My Heart
My journey through life, much like everyone else's, has not always taken the direction I had planned. My varied experiences through family issues, corporate crises, ministry challenges and a career transition provide me with a special understanding and compassion for others facing the obstacles of life change. Through the twists and turns of my own journey, I have learned to embrace the obstacles in my life as opportunities for positive change and I am passionate about empowering others to do the same. I believe that my life's purpose is to empower and equip others to live their lives to their fullest potential.
Coaching Niche
My diverse life experience has led me to become more of a generalist than a specialist. Clients seeking coaching in the areas of Life Balance & Purpose, Life Transitions, Relationships, Spirituality and Business/Leadership can all benefit from my insights and experience.
Interests & Family
When I'm not working, you will most likely find me writing for my devotional blog, playing golf, relaxing with friends, playing the piano or leading a bible study. I live with Troy, my husband of 13 years and am "mom" to three furry canine children.
Experience & Education
My coach training was from the Institute of Life Coach Training. I am a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst which allows me to administer and coach with the DISC behavior assessment. My educational background consists of an accounting degree from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Rockhurst University. I am a former CPA and Corporate Controller with a 15 year career in Corporate America, including several years experience in the financial planning industry. In addition, I have also served as Women's Ministry Director of a medium-sized church.
